In Loving Memory<\/span><\/h2>\n

This page is a dedication to the beautiful dogs the charity have helped over the years, who have passed on from this life. They will forever be in our hearts.<\/p>\n

\"Joe\"<\/a>Meet Ralph<\/strong> (formerly known as Rasta)
\n\"Joe\"<\/a>
\nMy previous Bullie, Rodney had just died, and 11 days later Gill phoned me to ask if I would go to Torquay to spring an older Bullie out of a pound in Torquay.
\nI was just leaving Southampton for Bullie Bash 4 in Woolacombe – so agreed to collect Ralph<\/strong> on the Monday, having changed my mind about being unable to take in another so quickly.
\n\"Joe\"<\/a>
\nRalph was with me for a little over two years and I loved him with my whole heart.
\nHe set off for Bullie Heaven two weeks ago, after heart failure and fluid on his lungs finally began to defeat him. He was the calmest, most friendly, happy, tail wagging Bullie ever.<\/p>\n

This final picture is of him at Bullie Bash 5, stood with his girlfriend Sapphire. Both had same heart conditions, both now gone and will be happily plodding around together.\"Joe\"<\/a>Fostering and adopting these older dogs is so rewarding – and even when they leave us – they leave their pawprints on our hearts.
\nWe agree to make room in our homes and hearts for the next one …. who has already arrived!

When Joe<\/strong> came into the rescue, he was in a very bad way.
\nJoe<\/strong> had been neglected badly, he was found wandering and handed to a kennels.
\nThey allowed us to take him in and we began his road to recovery.
\nHe was very underweight only weighing 21.5 kilos. He has rotten teeth, abscesses and poorly skin and eyes.
\nJoe<\/strong> spent three weeks with a foster home, along with two brothers Reggie and Doolie who welcomed him and made him part of the pack.
\nHe became a different dog and was happy for three weeks, having the time of his life. Unfortunately, his teeth and gum issues had taken hold and at the vets recommendation, with a heavy heart he was put to sleep. – 2015
